Dr Neeraj Nagpal did his  postgraduation in medicine from CMC Ludhiana and thereafter trained in Department of Hepatology at PGIMER Chandigarh. He has been a member of many National and International Societies and Associations. He was awarded Fellowship of Indian Society of Gastroenterology, International Medical Sciences Academy, IMA Academy of medical Specialties for his contribution in the field of medicine, Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He has published many papers in national and international journals, is a frequently sought after speaker at various regional and national Conferences and has delivered many orations. He runs two NGOs and has been President of Indian Medical Association Chandigarh.

He is a pioneer in the field of open access GI Endoscopy and introduced  video endoscopy in 1996 being first in region to do so. He gained lot of fame in field of foreign body removals and other therapeutic endoscopy and colonoscopy. In his hospitals at Sector 21 Chandigarh Dr Nagpal and his clinic now in Mohali has cumulative experience of more than 80,000 endoscopic procedures including, Upper GI Endoscopies, Sigmoidoscopies, Colonoscopies, Therapeutic ERCP, Polypectomies, stricture dilatations, Foreign body removals from esophagus, stomach, D1 and Rectum in children as small as 1 ½ year old to 102 year old gentleman,  Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy, Achalasia Rx, Variceal band ligation, Glue injections, hemorrhoidal band ligation IRC, Argon Plasma Coagulation , SEME placement etc.

He is currently doing limited practice at Hope Clinics SCO No 1066-67 Sector 123 New Sunny Enclave, Airport Road Mohali where he provides consultation for limited hours and diagnostic Endoscopy and colonoscopy services only since 2019.
